NROS – Northants & Rutland Open Studios
I am a member of NROS, an artists collective which promotes the work of artists in various mediums in and around Northants and Rutland. Many of the artists open their studios / workspaces to visitors so that they can see the artist at work. My own workspace at Stanwick Lakes can be visited by prior arrangement. Please contact me if you wish to come along. Note that I will often be working with chainsaws, so there will be a lot of noise and you will have to stay behind a fence for your own safety while I am working.
NROS runs various exhibitions of members’ work during the year. The main exhibitions run for the month of September each year, with a central exhibition at Lamport Hall, and satellite exhibitions at various other locations. I will have pieces on show at the Central exhibition and at Stanwick Lakes.

Readings/Divination
I offer readings (also called divination) of the Celtic Ogham or Nordic Runes for people seeking guidance, insight, inspiration or understanding in their lives or well-being.
Celtic Ogham
The Ogham is a set of 20 staves, each of the wood of the tree it represents and marked with the symbol for that tree.
Each tree is associated with a particular Goddess or God and their characteristics. Drawn singly or in a group, they are read to offer us insight and understanding.
Ogham readings are also carried out using a set of cards, each depicting the tree it refers to.
Nordic runes
The Runes are a set of 24 characters forming an alphabet used by Norse people. They are also drawn or carved in wood, stone, bone etc. and used for readings.
Each Rune is allocated a spiritual meaning. Runes are then drawn and their meanings read to offer guidance and inspiration.
Rune readings are also carried out using a set of cards, each depicting the Rune it refers to.
I also am a practitioner with diving rods – used to locate lines of force / power / energy which are also called ley-lines. These can help with planning the layout of a site or garden and with locating hidden features, lost items and even pipes, cables, drains and leaks.
