At Stanwick Lakes
I am the resident wood-artist at Stanwick Lakes and there are a number of my pieces to be seen around the park.
I am also often at the park working on new projects – come and say hello if you see me there.
Carvings to look out for at Stanwick Lakes include the Celtic imagery around the entrance to the replica Iron Age roundhouse; a roof column in the Heritage Barn, featuring the Oak and Holly kings from Pagan mythology carved on opposite faces; the Green Man carving created for BBC Countryfile in 2021…
… and fun animal sculptures on the children’s play area and elsewhere. More carvings are planned for the future, so keep watching out.
